Chicago graphic designer Joe Klomes captured his proposal to his girlfriend, Kim Firth, on Tuesday in a series of photos; then, he turned those photos into an animated GIF. Klomes told HuffPost Weddings that Firth always said they didn't have enough pictures together. So he took her out to a pier on Lake Michigan and told her it would be a good place to take a photo. He set up his tripod and camera, but secretly set the camera on interval shooting so it would take a photo every five seconds. Then, he got in front of the camera, dropped to one knee and popped the question. I knew it was going to happen so fast, so I wanted to catch every expression," Klomes said. I wanted to do something interesting with the series of photos to show family and friends. An animated GIF seemed like an easy way to show the story.

GIFs allow us to express complex messages in a matter of seconds. In fact, according to a survey published in Time , nearly two-thirds of millennials polled said GIFs communicated their thoughts and feelings better than words. So, how can your business get in on the GIF trend to get your message across and boost engagement? It takes short movie clips and turns them into GIFs that literally leap out of a mocked-up social media post. Using GIFs on social media will help your audience members relate to your company on a more personable level. Email marketing is still one of the most effective ways to speak to your target audience, but consumers today are inundated with a ton of email marketing messages. That means you need to do something different to get their attention and make them want to click. Adding GIFs to your marketing will make your emails more interactive, which in turn will boost engagement from your subscribers. You can use a GIF to showcase a ton of different products that are available on your website or just add a fun text GIF that catches the eye. GIFs in your email messages will delight readers bored with reading static emails.

That response made her very happy. It is helpful to know that there are others who are experiencing the same emotions and to hear about your coping methods and advice. There's this fantasy perpetuated in the religion that if you're good and pure enough, that any man you meet would eventually see the truth and join the church for you. It really helped to make me feel better. Thank you for pointing this out. This spotty attention from him makes me sure I want to end things sometime. But now, we embrace our spiritual differences. I'm raising great kids alone I'm alone at all those same events It's been a huge personal sacrifice to support my husband all these years.
I had been teetering on the fringes for quite a long time, mostly coming to Church but not really being present, because I felt like an outcast as an older single. I mean, there was no way it could be worse than intern year. Be fruitful and multiply.
